A. Yep, and a whole bag full of goodies. (if you ride to the course, i will be happy to hang onto your bag for you to pick up at the crit. If you don’t WANT the bag of goodies, let me know and I will re-use for an onsite registrant.

The Tour of Lawrence final day (WITH NUMBERS ON THE RIGHT!!!!!) will be an exciting circuit road race near lovely lone star lake just outside of Lawrence. Click here to open google maps with destination auto-set to Lone Star Lake Campground. Park up top at the campground, or along the road between the swim beach and the marina.
Registration will be at the lake marina by the swim beach. Here’s a picture if you prefer that to my (not quite) thousand words:
SLIGHT CHANGE FROM THE RACE FLYER:
We looked at the distance from registration to the start line and thought it miight cause some stress in getting to the line in time, so Instead of staging and starting you at the dam, we will be staging and starting from a place closer to the marina. The start will still be neutral, and you will have some nice warm up hills on what i have always affectioinately thought of as the Lone Star roller coaster. This is truly one of my favourite places to ride, and i hope you love the beauty of this little gem of a lake as much as I do. I KNOW you will love the hill on the course too….i put that there just for you guys. Gosh, i can’t believe my big bike party is almost over….until next year (lots of plans for improvement, more money, more prizes, more of all the good stuff….except heat maybe.). Thanks again, to all of you for coming. You have all been so kind to me, and it means so so much.
There will be a surprise bonus KOM/QOM lap…The winner will get a hand-made crown to keep, a COLOSSAL COOKIE, and a $20 sunflower bike shop gift card (Juniors and cat 5s will only get the crown and the cookie, per USAC rules).
BRING A SWIM SUIT and cool off in Lone Star Lake after your race. Or you can just jump in in your kit, we won’t judge. But stay for an hour or so after the race if you can, and let’s enjoy each other’s company OFF our bikes for a bit!
